We are more than meets the eye.

I obviously picked the title of this blog for more than a blatant Transformers reference. Well, perhaps not 'obviously', but I did. It was for a philosophical reason, to be quite honest.

Are we, as humans, more than meets the eye? At first glance, we're obnoxious, narcissistic, jerks. However, beneath the surface, do we have the ability to be... more? Truly, this cannot be all there is to us. There are more than two layers to each of us. There is a third layer, a middle layer beneath our outer and inner layers. Like pie.

If you'll excuse a blatant Dr. Horrible reference, of course. But truly, what is our defining feature? Is it our inner layer? Is it our outer layer? Or is it our third layer? Quite frankly, which of these defines our person? And furthermore, who are we to decide this? Does it vary from person to person, which layer shows who they are?

So there you go. The reason for the blog title. Transform and roll out.
